We are seeking an Account Manager to grow with us for 1st shift essential employment in our Granite Falls, NC office. This position is a 40-hour work week on a traditional 1st shift schedule in a fast-paced work environment. It will allow you to lend your individual talents to a team setting.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in the transportation and logistics industry, with a qualified knowledge of the pricing and quoting process for their customer base.

Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to consistently solicit business from customer base on a regular schedule
Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or online chat, to provide support and information on products or services.
Collects and enters load orders for new or additional freight services.
Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the salesperson assigned to that customer’s account or other appropriate staff.
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
Communicate with Dispatch to see what their immediate and future needs are daily.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Develop regular call schedule with Sales Department
Contact customers as needs of the planning department dictat4e
Spot bid rates
Follow-up if bid freight is not tendered
Track customer’s response for weekly report
Excellent communication skills including active listening.
Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
Clear and concise written and oral communication skills are required for this role. The ideal candidate will be detailed and deadline oriented, have proficient computer skills with the ability to analytically think and provide solutions for client partners.
