Transportation Manager
Transportation Manager:
are seeking a Transportation Manager for 1st shift essential employment in our Charlotte, NC transportation terminal. This position is a 40-hour work week in a fast-paced work environment. It will allow you to lend your individual talents to a team setting. Qualified candidates will have the ability to problem solve and communicate direct information effectively and in calm, collected, timely fashion.

Responsibilities
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
- Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
- Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries
- Prioritize calls according to need and concern
- Use phone and computer to send drivers to appropriate locations
- Watch the route and status of units on the ground to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
- Provide drivers with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
- Enter data in computer system and keep logs and records of calls, activities and other information
- Field calls for track and trace for customers

Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent (Minimum)
· Associates Degree or higher (Preferred)
Required Skills:
*Prior experience in dispatching/planning required for this role.
· Active listener with excellent written and oral communication skills
· Some experience in dispatch or customer serviced preferred.
· Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Attention to Detail is crucial.
· Time Management Skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
· Proficient Computer Skills
· Analytical thinking and problem solving
